Beautiful soul: April 26th 2015

Today is one of my roommate, Kayla’s birthday so we went to a nice authentic Spanish restaurant El Patron to start off our day.

After our lunch, we made a move onto our next destination: Kelly Park. Kelly Park is located in Apoka, Florida and features a free-flowing natural springs and camp grounds for adventurers. I have to say, it was absolutely beautiful there. The water was crystal clear and it just felt so relaxing flowing down the pathway on our tubes. We were still tipsy from drinks earlier so it was extra perfect.

I feel like I made a right decision by taking a semester off from school to do this internship this Spring. This internship has definitely pushed me to grow up, get out of my comfort zone and see the world with a broader view. By working at Disney, it taught me not to take anything for granted, which is a crucial component of being in the hospitality industry. This program has allowed me to connect with people from all over the world and opened my eyes to new friendships that will last a lifetime. It also has challenged me academically in a new level and forced me to immerse myself in a whole different culture. I have gained an incredibly valuable perspective from facing a completely different set of ideas, places and people. I am quite excited and ready for more adventures to come in near future.
