The New Yorkers: August 3rd-5th, 2016

It’s been quite awhile since I last visited New York so I convinced my boyfriend to take a trip up to New York with me. Instead of hitting the touristy spots, we decided to venture around the city. The first stop of the trip was Coney Island. Even though Coney Island was only 30 minutes away from Time Square, this place had a completely different vibe than the city. It was so serene and relaxing I almost felt like I was in a different state.

Before the trip, I made myself a checklist for us to do in Coney Island.

  • Ride the oldest wooden roller coaster in the world
  • Eat Nathan’s hot dogs
  • Dip my feet in the water
  • Go on wonder wheel
  • Take pictures by Art Walls

Follow me through my New York Diary to see if I was able to check everything off my list!
